French Toast Muffins (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 4 large eggs
02 - 240ml milk
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 200g sugar
06 - 4 cups bread cubes (white or whole wheat)
07 - 60g butter, melted

→ Serving

08 - Maple syrup (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and thoroughly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
03 - Add bread cubes to the egg mixture and fold gently until each piece is thoroughly coated with the mixture.
04 - Spoon the soaked bread mixture into the muffin tin, filling each cup approximately 3/4 full.
05 - Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top of each filled muffin cup.
06 - Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
07 - Allow muffins to cool slightly before carefully removing from the tin.
08 - Serve warm, optionally dusted with cinnamon sugar or topped with maple syrup.

# Notes:

01 - These muffins can be prepared the night before and refrigerated before baking.
02 - For extra texture, add chopped nuts or dried fruit to the bread mixture.
