Pistachio Croissants (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry Base

01 - 2 fresh croissants

→ Pistachio Cream

02 - 1 cup heavy cream
03 - ½ teaspoon sugar
04 - 1.5 tablespoons pistachio paste

→ Toppings

05 - 3 tablespoons chopped pistachios
06 - 3 tablespoons pistachio paste

# Instructions:

01 - Chop deshelled pistachios and set aside for later use.
02 - Pour heavy cream into a bowl and add sugar. Whip for three minutes using a hand-held electric whisk.
03 - Add pistachio paste to the cream and whip for another two minutes or until stiff peaks form.
04 - Use a knife to slice croissants in half horizontally.
05 - Add pistachio cream to a piping bag or use a spoon to fill the croissant halves, then close them.
06 - Pipe additional pistachio cream on top of each croissant in the center. Sprinkle with the chopped pistachios.
07 - Drizzle pistachio paste over the croissants. If the paste is too thick, add a drop of oil and mix to achieve a drizzling consistency.
08 - Serve these luxurious pistachio croissants with tea or coffee.
