Sweet Cinnamon Twists (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
02 - 50g granulated sugar
03 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
04 - 60g unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 egg, beaten (for wash)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
02 - Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to even thickness.
03 - Brush the pastry surface generously with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
04 - Cut the pastry into 2.5cm (1-inch) strips, twist each strip several times, and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
05 - Brush each twist with beaten egg to ensure a golden, shiny finish when baked.
06 - Bake for 15-20 minutes until the twists puff up and turn golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

01 - These twists are best enjoyed warm from the oven but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
