Air Fryer Dried Tomatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 12 ripe cherry tomatoes
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus 1 teaspoon for mixing
03 - 1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning, divided
04 - Pinch of salt
05 - Fresh ground pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Quarter the ripe cherry tomatoes. In a bowl, mix the quartered tomatoes with 1 teaspoon olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
02 - If you have an Air Fryer grill pan, use it for this recipe to keep your Air Fryer clean. Otherwise, a cake pan or pizza pan works well too.
03 - Preheat your Air Fryer to 240°F (115°C) for 3 minutes. Arrange the seasoned tomatoes in a single layer on your chosen pan.
04 - Cook for approximately 45 minutes, checking the tomatoes every 10 minutes until they reach your desired level of dehydration.
05 - Remember that larger tomatoes contain more juice and will take longer to dehydrate. Extend cooking time if you prefer drier tomatoes.
06 - While tomatoes are cooking, take a glass bowl and mix the remaining tablespoon of olive oil with an additional teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
07 - Use silicone tongs to carefully remove the tomatoes from the Air Fryer and transfer them to a glass jar for storage.

# Notes:

01 - These air-fried tomatoes make a delicious topping for bruschetta, pasta, or salads.
02 - Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
