Tear the tofu into bite-sized pieces and coat thoroughly in plant-based milk, then roll in crushed cornflakes until fully covered.

Transfer the coated tofu pieces to the air fryer basket. Cook at 185°C for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even crispiness.

While the tofu cooks, combine sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, honey or agave, chilli sauce, minced garlic, and sesame seeds in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture begins to bubble and thicken.

Once the tofu is crispy and golden, transfer to a serving bowl. Pour the hot honey sauce over the tofu and toss gently until every piece is evenly coated.

Garnish with fresh sliced chillis if desired and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
