Airfried Hot Honey Tofu (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tofu Base

01 - 225g firm tofu, torn into bite-size pieces
02 - 150ml plant-based milk
03 - 150g cornflakes, crushed

→ Hot Honey Sauce

04 - 4 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
05 - 5 Tbsp soy sauce
06 - 1 Tbsp minced garlic
07 - 3 Tbsp honey or agave syrup
08 - 2 Tbsp chilli sauce
09 - 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

→ Garnish

10 - Fresh chillis, sliced (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Tear the tofu into bite-sized pieces and coat thoroughly in plant-based milk, then roll in crushed cornflakes until fully covered.
02 - Transfer the coated tofu pieces to the air fryer basket. Cook at 185°C for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even crispiness.
03 - While the tofu cooks, combine sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, honey or agave, chilli sauce, minced garlic, and sesame seeds in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture begins to bubble and thicken.
04 - Once the tofu is crispy and golden, transfer to a serving bowl. Pour the hot honey sauce over the tofu and toss gently until every piece is evenly coated.
05 - Garnish with fresh sliced chillis if desired and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

# Notes:

01 - For extra crispy tofu, press it between paper towels for 30 minutes before cooking to remove excess moisture.
