Beef Garlic Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped finely
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian herb mix
05 - ½ cup beef broth
06 - ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
07 - 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or penne)
08 - 2 cups water
09 - Salt and pepper, as needed

→ Extra Add-ins

10 - ¼ cup heavy cream
11 - Red pepper flakes
12 - Fresh chopped basil or parsley
13 - Cooked mushrooms or spinach

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a big pan and cook your ground beef on medium-high until it's no longer pink. Add some salt and pepper while cooking. If there's too much fat, drain it off and put the meat aside.
02 - Using that same pan, drop in the butter and let it melt. Toss in your chopped garlic and cook for about a minute until you can smell it. Don't let it turn brown or it'll taste bitter.
03 - Throw the uncooked pasta into the pan, then pour in the beef broth and water. Mix everything up, let it come to a bubble, then turn the heat down to medium-low. Let it cook without a lid for 10-12 minutes, giving it a stir now and then until the pasta's tender and most of the liquid's gone.
04 - Put the cooked beef back in the pan. Add the Parmesan and Italian herbs, stirring until well mixed. If you want it creamier, splash in some heavy cream.
05 - Give it a taste and add more salt or pepper if needed. Scoop it onto plates while hot and sprinkle with fresh herbs or more cheese if you want.

# Notes:

01 - You only need one pot for this tasty pasta, so washing up won't be a hassle afterward.
02 - Want your sauce a bit thicker? Just let everything sit for a couple minutes before you dish it up.
