Cheese Spinach Puffs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

→ Filling

02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder
05 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Finishing

06 - 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
03 - Cut the puff pastry into squares, approximately 3×3 inches in size.
04 - Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
05 - Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal the edges using a fork.
06 - Brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.
08 - Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
