Cherry Pie Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry

01 - 2 tubes crescent roll dough (8 ounces each)
02 - 1 can cherry pie filling (21 ounces)

→ Glaze

03 - 1 cup confectioners' sugar
04 - 1-2 tablespoons milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a standard muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and ensure easy release after baking.
02 - Unroll the crescent roll dough and place each piece into a muffin cup. Position the widest part of each dough triangle at the bottom of the muffin cup, creating a nest to hold the filling.
03 - Spoon approximately 3-4 heaping tablespoons of cherry pie filling into each dough cup. Some overflow during baking is acceptable and adds to the rustic presentation.
04 - Gently fold the corners of the dough over the cherry filling to partially enclose it. Bake in the preheated oven for 13-14 minutes, until golden brown and fully cooked.
05 - While the cherry bites are baking, whisk together the confectioners' sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust milk quantity to achieve desired consistency.
06 - Remove baked cherry bites from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Drizzle the glaze over the warm pastries and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

# Notes:

01 - These cherry pie bites can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days, though they're best enjoyed fresh.
02 - For variety, try substituting the cherry filling with other fruit fillings like blueberry or apple.
