Fresh Crab Pasta Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Medium shells pasta (1 pound)
02 - Imitation crab meat (14 ounces)

→ Fresh Vegetables

03 - Frozen peas (½ cup, thawed)
04 - Red onion (½ cup, peeled and chopped)
05 - Celery (½ cup, chopped)
06 - Red bell pepper (½ cup, seeded and chopped)

→ Dressing & Herbs

07 - Mayonnaise (¾ cup)
08 - Fresh dill (1 tablespoon, chopped, or 1 teaspoon dried)
09 - Fresh chives (chopped, for garnish)
10 - Salt and pepper (to taste)

# Instructions:

01 - Boil generously salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, crab meat, peas, onion, celery, bell pepper, mayonnaise, and dill
03 - Gently stir until all ingredients are well coated. Add salt and pepper to taste
04 - Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
05 - Garnish with fresh chopped chives and serve cold

02 - Can be prepared ahead and chilled
03 - Uses imitation crab meat for convenience
04 - Can substitute dried dill if fresh is unavailable
