Crispy Smashed Broccoli Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 broccoli, sliced into florets
02 - 60 g parmesan, finely grated
03 - Lemon wedge to serve
04 - Dip of choice

→ Cupboard essentials

05 - 1 tbsp olive oil
06 - 1 tsp garlic granules
07 - ½ tsp smoked paprika
08 - ½ tsp Cayenne pepper
09 - Salt & pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 370°F (190°C). Steam broccoli florets for 5-6 minutes until fork tender.
02 - Place steamed broccoli on a parchment-lined baking tray. Use a heavy glass to smash florets to about 1 cm thickness.
03 - Mix olive oil, garlic granules, smoked paprika, Cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Brush mixture onto smashed broccoli and sprinkle generously with parmesan.
04 - Bake for 12-15 minutes or until parmesan is golden and crispy.
05 - Remove from parchment paper and serve with a squeeze of lemon and your dip of choice.

# Notes:

01 - Spray a light layer of oil onto the parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Avoid over-steaming broccoli to ensure crispiness.
03 - Evenly space broccoli on the baking sheet to prevent steaming and maximize crispiness.
