Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened
02 - 4 slices white bread or sourdough bread
03 - 4 tablespoons cream cheese
04 - 4 slices Fontina cheese or 4 ounces, grated
05 - 4 ounces thinly sliced ham
06 - 4 kosher dill pickle sandwich slices

# Instructions:

01 - Spread the outsides of the bread with butter. Spread the insides of the bread slices evenly with cream cheese.
02 - Place a slice of Fontina cheese on the bottom piece of bread on top of the cream cheese, add the ham, top with dill pickle slices, and another slice of Fontina cheese. Place the other piece of bread on top to create a sandwich.
03 - Heat a large skillet or griddle pan over medium-low heat and place the sandwiches butter side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese starts to melt and the bread is golden brown.
04 - Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat, cut sandwiches in half, and serve immediately.

01 - For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free bread.
