Cook the breakfast sausage in a cast iron pan until well done. Remove from the pan and pour off all but 1/4 cup of fat.

Add the flour to the sausage drippings in the skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until the mixture starts to turn golden. This removes the raw flour flavor.

Slowly add milk to the skillet, stirring constantly. Cook the gravy until it boils and thickens.

Lightly toast the English muffins in a toaster while preparing the gravy.

Scramble the eggs in a non-stick skillet. Add a small dash of milk to make them fluffier, if desired.

Turn the oven broiler on high. Place the toasted English muffins open-faced on a baking sheet. Add sawmill gravy, scrambled eggs, a slice of cheese, and sausage to each muffin half.

Toast the assembled pizzas under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
