Place your oven rack at the top of the oven, then preheat the oven to 500°F for at least 15 minutes. Line the inside of a 4-inch cheesecake pan with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and sour cream until combined. Add the egg, vanilla, and sugar, then whisk again until fully combined.

Add the flour to the mixture and mix well until smooth and fully incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared cheesecake tin and place it in the top rack of the oven, all the way in the back where the temperature is highest. Reduce the oven heat to 450°F and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Lift it from the parchment paper and allow it to cool to room temperature on a rack. Optionally, refrigerate for a firmer texture before serving.
