Pear Goat Cheese Crostini (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crostini Base

01 - 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
02 - 2–3 tablespoons olive oil

→ Topping

03 - 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
06 - ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - 115 g goat cheese, softened
08 - 1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
10 - ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy. Set aside to cool.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until dissolved. Add pear slices and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until tender and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
03 - Spread a layer of goat cheese onto each crostini. Top with one or two slices of caramelized pear.
04 - Drizzle honey over the pears. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary and optional chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
05 - Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.
